Armor destroying weapons such as the EAT can destroy armor and it is explosive, but it isn't a standard projectile.
Seriously, it will stunlock (only light ennemies lol), and can destroy limbs... but it takes forever to kill anything, and why would you want to stunlock an ennemy for 4 seconds when you can instant kill him with a single shotgun hit ?
And doing 100% more damage on weak point ? Right, I just sacrified 50% of my DPS to get an increase of 100% damage. Simple math : 100 -50% = 50 50+100% = 100.
So I kill exactly as fast, but only if I shoot at weakpoint. Greaaaat.
Also, the 320 BPM is just a big fat lie. this thing has 180 BPM at max.
So it's even worse than that.
Because they don't do enough damage. In fact the medium pen liberator loses just enough damage for the medium pen to be the exact same thing than without it. And the SMg is already a better liberator.
The few who does have pen and damage, however ( scorcher/dominator) are actually okay, but they are locked behind the last page of each warbonds type.
Anyone mentioning armour is also wrong, explosive damage does not in any way assist with armour. It specifically only does something when hitting fleshy bits.
oh dear ! I didn't even knew about that XD
Your HE and impact grenades do explosive damage.
Your Concussive Liberator, Plasma rifle and shotgun does explosive damage.
Grenade launcher, EAT, Recoiless rifle, Spear does explosive damage.
The JAR5 does NOT do explosive damage despite being classified as an explosive weapon. It makes more sense to call the railgun an explosive weapon as it literally blows up in your hands on unsafe at full charge, and does explosive damage then (which can be resisted by fortified armour).
Fortified armour reduces explosive damage received including from these explosive damage weapons by 60%.
Most explosive damage weapons also have significant 'knockback' from their projectiles, able to stop most moving targets. They also ragdoll the targets significantly on kill.
I have some more "simple math" questions for you. What is 100% of 50%? What is 100% - 90%? And finally, what is the difference between 100% of 50% and 100% -90%?
Yeah I agree the weapons are garbo, just too funny to not comment on.
