Guns need more bullets per magazine
Been playing for a while now and I'm finding that guns either don't do enough damage or don't have enough bullets.

There are times I'm using up an entire clip of ammo on just one large unarmoured bug (sometimes it doesn't even die), then get I swarmed by little ones because I'm either having to reload or swap weapons.

Even shooting some of the bugs in their weakspots it just doesn't feel like there is enough damage or bullets in the guns to kill them.

It's not very satisfying when you have to use an entire clip of ammo to kill a single bug when you've only got a hand full of clips.

I don't want less enemies, I just want the guns to feel like they make an impact on the slightly larger unarmoured enemies. If that's more damage, more bullets or just flat nerfing their health. Even if there needs to be a few more enemies spawn to make up for the change just having that little big more impact from guns will add to the satisfaction.

More dead bugs is always more satisfying.

Do you KNOW their weakspots? It isn't always the head. Tearing off limbs is just as effective as headshots. The explosive liberator 1-2 hits most enemies, the armored ones require you to go for leg shots unless you have med pen.

I mean i dont know what kind of gear you need for max difficulty, probably a tank, but even difficulty 5 is too hard with the gear ive seen so far and a full team.
Good thing there are difficulty levels, so instead of nerfing a PVE game into the ground 2 days after release you can just pick the level that fits you.
People are misunderstanding.

I'm not running out of ammo or having difficulty playing.

What I'm saying is it's not all that satisfying to put a whole load of bullets into a light armoured bug for it to just keep walking.

Nothing to do with difficulty, or total ammo.

Yes I know weakpoints aren't just the face and can be sides, underneath, once armour is broke etc. that's not the point.

The point is that killing bugs is satisfying and having to throw an entire mag into one to kill is is not.

why the hell do you think I carry a supply pack? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So he is not wrong. because in the first game we had weapon upgrades, and these made a huge difference to making a weapon viable for latter missions.

In this we do not.

He is brave for saying something needs to be fixed, because the fan bois are defending this game, no matter the glaring flaws.

You did not take into account the first game having a "Tax" for normal guns with bullets though. You always needed to take a slot for resups.
In this game everyone gets the resup stratagems.
So therefore normal guns are objectively more viable.

Ehhhhhh kind of? I get what you are saying, though my memory is hazy i could have sworn re supply was a free call in there too, it has been a while.

But still without weapon upgrades, some made them have more rounds or do more damage, or faster reload, it was cool and made almost any gun a viable option in later missions ,we lack that here.

In fact we lack a TON of weapons from the first game.

The first machine gun you get cuts through the majority of bug armor you will face on medium difficulty. It doesn't require an entire clip.

The tank bugs it takes about a magazine and a half to bring down in the butt.
it's a little excessive.

You're not meant to kill heavies alone, with a single magazine of anything, much less a standard-issue weapon. This is what the strategems and support weapons are for: specialization. This is also what your team is for: covering your bases with different specializations suitable for all the different situations you may find yourself in.

It does take a while to take that bug down. But it is basically a boss bug. When I take a mission to fight that, I take a grenade launcher. I solo them.

Make sure you are using all your slots, not just your default weapon.
Get the SMG secondary, and make a habit of pulling it out once in a while for a few kills.
It's also perfectly viable to run the Machine Gun, or Stalwart support weapon.

Picking up ammo, or a resupply charge, gives ammo to all your weapons, so you should make it an habit to make sure every weapon in your arsenal has used some of it's ammo.

Hell, you can run even the ammo backpack for infinite bullets, and support your team.
We need custimisation for guns, like drum mag.
go play call of duty sound more like for you

You have resupply, personal resupply pack, and there's plenty of ammo in the world.

Learn to manage them, and you won't by crying. Even if you run out, that's part of the game, run and use your wit to survive.
