Dodge to left or right
Skill issue
It's a great time to be a game dev. No matter what kind of mechanics you put into the game, it's always going to be the players fault for not being good enough.
It's really not though. If you dodge to the left or right as they begin to spew, they spew where you were. Dodge too early and they turn to follow you. As much as I hate to agree with the above terminology, they are right. The acid bugs were bad at first, but you better get use to em. They get rather numerous in extreme+.
Well yeah, they have a ranged attack xD. Don't stay still against them.
The problem is, there's 20 of the buggers on the field at any given moment because whoever programmed the balancing was out sick that day.
Like I said, just get use to em xd. They come in far more numbers than 4 later. Had 7 on my screen earlier. You can also use the EM strike to freeze em in place. Something else people don't seem to do, is utilize the local flora. On the ice map those ice plants freeze enemies in their place. Explosive, well you get the idea.
It's like muay thai; you gotta know how to respond to various ranges and moves deployed by the enemy; fist, elbows, knees, and kicks. These big acid spitters are the kicks for sure. Chargers are easily the knees and elbows, and the little guys are the barrage of jabs and crosses and upper cuts.
This game apparently has robots that shoot and that's sounds like more of a problem to deal with than dumb bugs.
