Oneshooting Green Acid Bugs
Concept of this mechanic is kinda broken, due to specific of type of gameplay this is probably most unfair enemy for now, because is a lot of situation when you cant counter react for this especially in night missions.

Mostly broken beccause 1 hit kill and quite big spread. 50% hp or 75% dmg i suppose more fair decition since this bug has a lot hit points and 1 shoot kill mechanic for medium armor. Actualyy 1 hit kill its overall bad concept for elite enemy in typo of gameplay this game, except the boss.

I understand game design and love it, but this enemy in my opinion is to much overpowered, since for overall concept its work more as game breaker in many situations.

This is my post in official discord thread, join and maybe devs will pay attention about it

It's really not though. If you dodge to the left or right as they begin to spew, they spew where you were. Dodge too early and they turn to follow you. As much as I hate to agree with the above terminology, they are right. The acid bugs were bad at first, but you better get use to em. They get rather numerous in extreme+.

It's a great time to be a game dev. No matter what kind of mechanics you put into the game, it's always going to be the players fault for not being good enough.
diving against spitter bug is a bad idea

don't worry mate i know how to kill them but they still a pain when they come with like 4 of them + charger tho they are not a issue if you blast them with the AT gun
They're overtuned because they're big targets meant for teams to bring down. Focus fire and whatnot.

The problem is, there's 20 of the buggers on the field at any given moment because whoever programmed the balancing was out sick that day.

Like I said, just get use to em xd. They come in far more numbers than 4 later. Had 7 on my screen earlier. You can also use the EM strike to freeze em in place. Something else people don't seem to do, is utilize the local flora. On the ice map those ice plants freeze enemies in their place. Explosive, well you get the idea.

They have a specific range. You can sometimes get caught off guard and take the hit full on, which is instant death, and that's true for just about every enemy type, including the little guys that can slow you and overwhelm you. But if you're planning your approach and repositioning effectively the moment you see Breech on your screen, you should be able to keep them at range and just out of reach of their spit. Don't hold back on your ordnance and eagle bombardments too. Just dump them into the general area.

It's like muay thai; you gotta know how to respond to various ranges and moves deployed by the enemy; fist, elbows, knees, and kicks. These big acid spitters are the kicks for sure. Chargers are easily the knees and elbows, and the little guys are the barrage of jabs and crosses and upper cuts.

Everytime I see one of those Chunky Spitter bois, I apply liberal use of Lead as quickly as possible from as far away as possible. Though at higher difficulties it's gonna be a team effort.

heavy lmg a good way to kill one
This is legit a skill issue if you can't deal with that bug.

This game apparently has robots that shoot and that's sounds like more of a problem to deal with than dumb bugs.
