In game currency with real money?
I was gone buy this game as it looks good seems play good and seems nice

But Obscene Monetisation of real life money for armours with better perks ability and stuff just reminded me of certain horse armour.

why should i have grind play for a armour while grouping with some guy on benefits who just used his benefits pay check my tax money probably to get some super duper heavy armour which i have grind for.

No i cant buy game out principle guess my loss . I hope rest you have fun mind and enjoy nicely made game part from that extra monetisation .

Do you go to the BMW dealership and say "I'd buy a car from you, if you only did...."?

Both Premium and Free warbonds are gated by badges anyway....

Medals + Superbucks can be Earned Through gameplay
Medals can only be Earned through gameplay

So even though the person paid to unlock the Premium Warpass - they still need to grind to unlock each piece.

When you go to the BMW dealership they will sell you a car. That car will have a price tag on it.

The Dealer wont tell you to buy BMW points to buy a BMW car.
Nor will they package it so that their package may fall just short of what you want, meaning you have to buy the next one up, which leaves you with a bunch left over instead of the exact money you would spend on the car.

Like if you want to do that analogy fine.
But understand that the reason games do premium currency is to distract the person from how much they are actually spending AND with the sizes of those currency packages to get them to spend more.

There is a book called Hooked by Nir Eyal which talks about this, its all about habit forming and exploiting bad choices in people.

Effectively developers be acting like drug dealers trying to trip the pleasure centre in your brain and also deceive you into spending more money than the item is worth.

You just don't understand how the game works, because you've never played it.

You can get 750 Super credits from the free Warbond and can get Super credits in mission.

Even if someone unlocked the "PREMIUM WARBOND" they still need badges to unlock anything in the warbond. Badges are only acquired through gameplay.

If you want to make an argument how the unlock system should change, then tell us how you would change it.

AFAIK all perks are on "free" armors too. its just Cosmetics in the end of the day... with that being said some perks are earned earlier than others.....

There's no "premium armor", at least not so far. Whatever perk the armor in the premium store got, you also got the same one for free with a different look. the shop item is mostly for cosmetic purpose.

Also you can earn this premium currency through gameplay for now.

I have about 10-15 hours in the game at this point.
I think I understand how it works.
I also think I know what a live service game is and what they are designed to do...

See you are talking about something else (The medals) which is an ingame currency, I would say its still a bit grindy (and thus falls within the live service mantra of engagement not entertainment).
What the OP is talking about is the blue chips.

You can make the argument if you want that you can earn them in game, but the earning is so negligible (like 5-10 a mission) that you will either end up missing out or buying them- and again that is a design feature.

Like many game devs I read these books because I want to know what gets people to spend money and time in games, unlike these devs I dont want to do it this way...

You can earn 750 Super Credits through the free warbond, ontop of what you get in mission. And I'm clearing 30-50 Super credits on the 45 minute missions just doing solo on Medium.

I, and many others, do not feel that this is predatory at all. You are free to feel otherwise and I hope you can capture a market for your Developed game. What I do know, is you pointing out perceived slights to the Steam forums at friday night, is you're not a serious dev.

You're something else and not an authentic actor.

And its not about feelings its about facts. I told you one of the core books game devs read about this subject. It is designed to be predatory.

Im literally you to read the books and you will see- its all by design.

And I dont believe you are getting 30-50 credits a mission, because if that were true then it would invalidate their cash shop....
Because after about 10 missions you would be able to buy everything in the shop.

The helmets in the shop do not add any bonuses, only the armors do. So you're really just talking about TWO ITEMS, and even then those armors have certain weaknesses.

Yes, I have more than enough Super Credits to buy both armors and have Super Credits left over.

Ok well that invalidates their cash shop and you know what that means; they are going to nerf the drop rate.
GG I guess.

Think of the "cash shop" as a gofundme. You want to donate you're more than welcomed, but not required.

Again you are allowed to perceive slights however you want, even "WHAT IF" future ones. Does not mean it's based in reality.

Buy a copy, educate yourself.

lmao, I knew you weren't an authentic actor. You're trying to sell a book, instead of demonstrating your point by releasing a game that challenges the notion.
