Best place to aim on Chargers?

From what I've played so far, it seems like the Chargers can take between 2-4 recoilless rifle hits to kill. Has anyone figured out how to deal the most damage to the chargers with EAT or RR?

Apart from blasting them in the behind, a well-placed rocket to their sides will destroy their armor, enabling you to use regular weapons to kill them. Their face-plate seems to be heavy armor, and won't take much damage at all from anything.

Best bet imo is either the underside of their butt or one of their front legs. Breaking the armor on the sides doesn't seem to work, my bullets still get deflected off.

The one thing that annoys me about Chargers, is the lack of armor destruction. It does have it in some places, but it would be nice to have it everywhere.

Also, if you destroy the armor, for some reason light arms STILL can't hit the squishy bits, you will still bounce. Pretty silly, and hopefully a bug that gets fixed and not intended.

Wait, you can dive under their charge without getting hurt?

1) Have someone with a high damage explosive shot shoot off the armor of legs
2) Hit the now unarmored leg with autocannon
3) Shoot it twice or thrice, and it's now dead

edit: This actually works out much faster than you think. None of us while doing this were receiving buddy reloads either. Recoiless Rifle can usually knock off leg armor in 1~3 hits, depending on how well the shot lands. Can handle up to 2 Chargers comfortably, requires some extra help when with 3 of them.

After having played a bit more, this is definitely the way to go. Explode their leg armor and then left-click exposed leg with gun of choice. They die ridiculously fast once the armor is off.

II think I remember them dying from 1 rocket hit to the back in the first game. I wish it was the same in this one

i almost always try bait them into charging me, Dive to the side and blast their under/rear with anti material rifle
