Full Haptic support on DualSense PS5 Gamepad
I cant believe it. I bought the DualSense PS5 gamepad for Returnal and just found out that Helldivers 2 is one of the rare games which has FULL Haptic support.

it even supports the touch pad and just everything from native ps5 version.

This game is mindblowing

Are you plugging your controller in to your PC? Can you please try Bluetooth and let me know what works?

Oooh, now I'm tempted to use my PS5 pad instead of mouse and keyboard... will give it a crack!

You have to plug it in to get everything and hell even the controller mic works. I had no good luck with wireless.

wired only for now.

But it's good lol, prefer it to keyboard for now. But maybe not end-game lol

I cant get it to work with vibration or haptics. I've tried DSX, Steam Input, native (dsx/steam/hidhub off). Controller works fine, same with touchpad and gyro, but no haptics. I use the Dualsense Edge. Maybe thats the difference maker.

So wireless supports haptic triggers but no rumble. I am curious if we can let the devs know because other Sony games such as ratchet work with bluetooth and have full haptic and rumble support.

If I disable Steam input, the Dualsense works in Steam OS. But after a while clicking the touch pad to view my map will also fire my equipped gun/stratagem/grenade. Wtf! Anyone else experiencing this?

Sometimes steam gets confused, from time to time in the past i've had to enter "big screen mode" and enable/disable PS5 support on some games. Just a quick fyi :)

Yes I started experiencing this last night with my dual sense plugged into the dock and haven’t found a fix yet.

It has the gyro thingy, too. I was surprised when I saw that.
The thing that lets you do fine recoil control by moving the pad around. Whatever that is called.

It's not haptics! It's adaptive triggers. There's a big difference. Haptics have never worked wirelessly on PC.

Exactly and I believe it's a "Sony" thing, nothing any game dev can change to make it work...
