Worth $60 or wait for sale?
Want to get Helldivers but also worried about the asking price. Is it worth the $60?

it's worth the 40 ez, do 60 only if you want to support the devs, as you can earn mirrors of everything in it in-game

For $40 its very fun especially with friends. Do note that the progression system is really annoying with things locked behind premium currency, you can "earn" that currency but at a slow rate.

Besides that everything else is really enjoyable. But I've only played in a group, not sure how the experience is with randoms.

It’s $40 for the regular game and you can upgrade later if you like it, the game is worth the $40.

It's $60 AUD for the regular game, and they're milking every penny with not having a sale during the Spring sale. It's quickly turning into pay to win BS.

Actually it's not. The new "battle pass" warbond has you gain access (only access) to it via super credits; something easily obtainable via just playing the game, if you'd choose. Beyond that, literally everything in the warbond itself has to be gotten with medals; something ONLY obtainable by playing the game... you literally can't buy anything in the warbond with money; even if you wanted to, you can't actually pay for anything in the warbond.

Bingo. It's really reasonable for a game that's planned to be a long running live service type game.

60 if you want but you can earn 1000 supercredits by your 20-30 hours of playing to unlock whichever warbond you want.

40$ and never upgrade, the perks are, as always, superficial at best.

But yeah, totally worth 40$ just go get it.

With all the drama I have sank 150 hours into this game after years of buying games and never playing them. I think it is worth it yes,
