Well if that's the design then it failed at it, as you are more likely to just bump into what you try to get on top of just to die an embarrassing death by having a bug snuggle up to your insides.
Jokes aside, there's few uses i can think of for this, at least on the planets we are currently on. At most i can see a niche use for getting over an wall on an automaton outpost.. but that niche use does not outweigh having more ammo, an shield, or some other backpack utility that does far more.
Like bruh, long CD may be fine if the mobility was great but wtf is this?
The lighter your armor type, the further you can jump as stated above in the thread.
Even with light armor it's still leave much to be desired, it is nothing but a poor imitation of jetpack from HD 1.
Needs no cooldown, and could use more boost height!
