Tho honestly doubt it’s the game just a coincidence your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up when installing this game
The oc has never done this and so far it has not turned itself on again after uninstalling the game.
So far uninstalling has resolved the issue.
I've also had this PC for 8 months and never had this issue
It has not happened so far since uninstalling the game.
It is very odd but it only happened post game install and seems to have stopped entirely post uninstall. I'm working now next to it so I'll know if it turns itself on again post uninstall but if it does not all day then that 100% confirms it.
Prepare yourselves.
Update: yep was set friends only changed that now.
So I did some digging on the PC booting up by itself and this is what I found, might help you:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type "powercfg -lastwake", it should tell you the reason it booted up and if it does you have your reason.
You can also check the Event Viewer, under Windows Logs > System, search for Kernel-Boot under Source and look around the source (next message usually) if it tells you who started the boot.
Finally, some people say that the option "Wake On LAN" from BIOS can also cause your PC to boot up without your prompt and disabling it (in BIOS) will stop it. For this one though I'd recommend you do your own search rather than take my word on it as I don't recommend messing with the BIOS if you don't know what you're doing.
Again the PC has not turned itself on for over an hour now with the game uninstalled. It's turned itself on much much sooner than thst with the game installed.
I don't think lastwake will help but I'll see if i can pull up history. As last turn on was manual for me to uninstall
