Crashing Issue on AMD GPU, possible fix.
If it's only the case (I will shoot myself in the balls but have to test it more later) I'm going to report it back to the dev team.

PROBLEM OCCURANCE:
- Crashes at random times or in-game events (rescue heli arrival, player death, enemy death, tutorial mission else crashes at random).

WHAT IT DOES:
- Crash to desktop, closing the app,
- Crash to desktop, crashing the AMD driver,
- Shutting down one of two monitors after the crash,
- Shutting down two monitors which forces user to reset the PC,
- Crash to desktop, closing the Discord App and other GPU related (for example recording software).

MY PC:
RX7900XT
Ryzen 7 5800x3d
32 GB DDR4 RAM
2 TB WD Black Nvme (Game files)
750W "Silentium PC" PSU
Dual 1440p 27 inch monitor
Wireless G PRO mouse and Logi keyboard MX KEYS

AMD drivers (24.1.1)
Windows 11 Pro

GAME SETTINGS:
- Ultra Preset with Max Quality Resolution (one below before Native resolution)
- 1440p Resolution

POSSIBLE FIX:
- Turn OFF Space Global Illumination,
- Set resolution to NATIVE.

I turned off Global Illum and have gone from crashing every few minutes to no crashes in 2 hours of playing straight. Hope this doesn't jinx it. I'm running 7800X3D, 7900XTX Red Devil.

Time to test this myself, I have same cpu and 7900xtx from sapphire

Running 7900XTX and 7800X3D .. what has worked so far is lowering some of the graphics settings and also forcing the game to run in DX12 -- right click on the game in library, select properties, then in general tab under launch options bit just type -DX12, Once I did that i played for several hours before i logged off without any incidents. Good luck fellow AMD users

turned them off and i have not had a single crash all day. ive played about 7 hours without a crash, 7800xt on 23.12.1 driver with AA off and global illumination off.

Turned everything to medium, it crashed.
Turned it to low, my complete system crashed and needed a reboot.
Been trying for hours with a couple of possible fixes but nothing seems to work.
I hope the devs make some statements around this problem cause it affects a lot of people , even people with nvidea GPU’s.

it was very often, just on the space ship moving the camera it was crashing and when i was able to get into a game with someone it would crash then trying to rejoin it was crashing every time the pod came in. it was crashing far more on 24.1.1 driver so i reverted it back using DDU in safe mode to fully wipe the driver. then tried global illumination off today and it was stable for me.

other changed settings im running are render scale as Native, camera shake off and its in fullscreen, motion blur 0, depth of field off, bloom off. not sure if any of those are helping or not

RX 7900 XT and the workaround with turn off "Space Global Illumination" and "AntiAliasing" works so far for me. 2h without crash

Normal behavior as always on AMD-Systems :steamfacepalm:

Turning all graphics to low should fix it though, I played more than 4 hours last night without a crash after setting my graphics to low.

I'll do further testing today with each individual setting until I find which ones are causing the crashes.
7900xtx, lock your game on 60fps.
