Fake anger?

Been around a while and saw lots of actual anger from FO74 launch to EA's 40 hour work week for character unlocks in battlefront 2. No man's sky's launch failure to successful recovery to Hogwarts JK nonsense and everything in between and more. This anger does not remotely have the same feel. It really feels like someone told a bunch of people they need to be mad about something but they don't actually care or know enough to be proper mad about it. I get the currency anger that's a given, even if the rates are decent people will still be upset at it. Then most, but maybe not all, of the ban anger seems to line up with server maintenance and people not actually being banned. So that just seems like poor timing, ignorance, and knee jerk reactions honestly.

also if you read previous topics you would notice that they are acting like mobs doing mass attacks on every topic with different opinions and on top of that they are white knighting for a failed game that even its fans abandoned it.

I mean its hard not to be mad when you see streams of people playing the game, youtube content of the game, and yet as a normal player i cant even connect to the servers to get through the first mission after having the game crash after bootcamp.

Nothing fake about my anger. I'm stuck with a game I can't refund because I bought it from GMG, won't dare allow to be installed on my PC with its rootkit anti-cheat, and can't even play on my Steam Deck like I had hoped. I was really excited about this game as a fan of the first one and I wasted $30 on something I can't play or get money back from. If I had known about the Nprotect rootkit and no Deck functionality, I would have just bought the PS5 version instead. It's inexcusable and a total ripoff.

You can thank GMG refund policy for that, Valve isnt responsible, funnily enough the developers weren't obligated to make it work on the deck either, due diligence and all that.

And you're not doing the same going through threads advocating how great microtransactions in game are? Or how great one of the worst anticheat imaginable is that causes so many technical issues is?

no fake anger people were pissed couse its another title unplayable on launch, but we have to be fair that devs took quick actions, so if they continue that trend soon "positive" will come.

Its not steam, its our current society. The dickhe*ds and asocial human scum won because they are few but very loud, the internet is a megaphone and most people need to believe because they know nothing. Games, reacts, asocial networks .... are just their playground. Most of us are not yet adjusted to such a disgusting behaviour. Thats why you see hate everywhere. It triggers an answer and that helps the comment to rise in popularity. Our huge companys like google use algorithms to support that system.

No one told you it would work on steam deck (it actually does though with the latest proton ge) I think maybe you're just an uninformed consumer.

I'm not mad, just sad. Not very happy with the Anti-cheat choice... I'll be playing anyway but it did sour the entire launch/game thing a bit for me. I think most negative reviews are tied to Quickplay launch issues and some additional performance stuff, both can and will be solved and the game will get better reception.

I just hope they will honor their word and swicth the anti-cheat for a different one. AC are all the same invasive trash yes, but might as well have only one installed instead of 2,3,4... preferrebly one with better reputation. Not gonna stop cheaters anyway, at least not with an anti-cheat that took a decade to patch a security issue.

So in other words you didnt read a single line about the game before buying? There are dozens of threads and discussion about the anticheat. So you bought blind and now cry?
