Weapons have two hidden controls (That the tutorial doesn't teach you.)

One is pushing Middle mouse button when aiming to go into aim mode (ADS)

The other is holding R to select fire mode, zoom level and how your weapon's attatchment works. It's rather humorous that you can ramp the HMG up to 900 bullets a minute haha.

Nah I know how to go from 3rd person to ADS but can you zoom the actual scope in and out?

Idk why but the sniper zoom doesn't work for me. I even tried changing the key bind on the aim switch but it still doesn't zoom in for me

yeah R doesnt do anything for zooming in for me, any tipps?

Hold R and scroll up to change the zoom levels.

Hold R opens a weapon function menu for pretty much most gubs from fire modes, flashlights and scope ranges. Make sure you're in 3rd person/not actively aiming.

I believe mouse scroll up handles ranges, down handles flashlight and right click for fire modes. Do keep in mind, some weapons don't have any options.

change to dynamic aiming. 3rd person aim becomes a hold, 1st person aim becomes a tap.

The keybind doesn't work if you set your aim button to tap instead of hold.

None of these tips matter at all. The only key bind that matters is "open weapon wheel". Set this key to whatever you want and you can now open the menu. You don't need to be aiming or actively pressing any other buttons to open this special menu. The base game makes this key bind R the same as your reload but it doesn't have to be R.

Likewise, if you unbind "open weapon wheel" like I did originally thinking it was a scrolling wheel for your equipped weapons and not the alternate/zoom modes then the menu won't open no matter what.

Moral of the story. "Open weapon wheel" is the key bind necessary to access the alternate fire/flashlights/zoom options.

Those of you on controller, you hold reload while not aiming and you chose your zero level. 200m is zoomed more than 100m.

Its the same as changing railgun to unsafe mode
