Cannot Launch?

When hitting play to launch the game it cancels two seconds in and nothing happens...? Already verified integrity of game files and it seemed fine. Is this an on going issue w/ most players or just myself?

same here. I've tried reinstalling 3 times, verifing the game files, and even disabling my firewall and virus protection.
The controller settings thing didn't work either.

This happened to me but I fixed it by launching the game through an invite my friend sent me through steam

I had this. I was able to launch fine once, then every other attempt it would CTD after a couple seconds. What fixed it for me was setting the game executable to run as admin - not running the exe as admin but just configuring it to in it's comparability settings, then launching through steam as normal. You get the UAC prompt but it runs flawlessly after that.

Same here, and invites from friends and trying to press join game didnt work for me.

Running the Helldivers2.exe as Admin also fixed the issue for me.

Keep trying to start it. The game started after I tried like 10 times

update: I tried to launch it as admin and it says I was missing file MSVCR110.dll. I went and downloaded it here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679#
and that fixed it!
