Its not really pay 2 win as it seems to mostly include cosmetics.
Once you unlock the battle pass you earn "medals" in game (this is also used for the free teir) and can buy whatever you want from a selection of 10-15 items, once you buy 8 of them it unlocks the next chunk of 10-15 items.
They've also stated no FOMO, the battle pass items don't go away, they will just be adding to them.
Edit: looks like 1000 "Super-credits" are 10-15 bucks based on your currency.
Ok, but are there weapons and ammo etc. (things that do affect gameplay and give you power) that can be unlocked ONLY from premium warbonds/battle passes?
Becasue if yes then it does seems to give advantage to those who pay $$ as they will pay and be able to unlock faster vs players that will slowly grind enough premium currency to even unlock warbond in first place.
Also free battlepass gave you 750 at start. Future one won't? So you will grind from 0 to 1000 paid currency in missions? Is that a lot or not? Is there limit of them?
Anyway, you get quite a few of the SC in every match if you look around, I've spent around 200 and I think I have 200ish left so far....and I bought the standard version.
I wouldn't consider it premium if you can get it with in-game currency.
It doesn't give you the super credits (paid currency) at the beginning, you redeem SC with medals in the pass up to that much. You can get one package of 100, eventually 50, per page.
Well the Premium battlepass pretty much only have 2 items that are worth it people say....one of them is a bit "cheatey" apparently cause you won't die from bleeding.
So for myself I'm not gonna care about accessing the second shop until I've unlocked the normal stuff.
But I got 500 SC in a few hours so it shouldn't take that long I'd assume.
Well you earn them from getting medals, the harder difficulties gives more.
You also get between 5 and 50 per match (someone said they got 250 in one match but I'm not sure I trust him) you play if you look around the map for the empty bases and bunkers.
Is that from farmable collection, or does it involve one-time payouts?
They still need the badges to progress through Warbonds, so no one can automatically unlock everything.
You get Battle pass points for each mission completed. You can buy Armor (so far) with super credits, this armor can also be earned.
My team still cant find guns outside of the Battle pass. and the Stratagems are still not all there.
Somewhat of an answer: If you pay attention to your minimap as you do missions you can potentially find super-credits in the wild in "lost" pods/crates which show up with a bright flashing beacon.

As far as unlocking credits in the warbonds... That depends on how many medals you rake in from your missions. The harder the mission and the more secondary objectives you have complete when you extract, the higher the potential payout. Thus, complete missions and you get medals, which you can redeem for more super-credits in the warbond(s). The items in said warbond are unlocked ONCE and that's that. You cannot "farm" them.
I've literally unlocked all but 2-3 things in the super-credit "super store" in just an afternoon of play with friends.
It's really not that big of a deal like people keep speculating. The warbonds do not go away, ever, so you're free to unlock them at your own pace. And the stuff in the shop is all rather generic cosmetic fodder like armor and helms and capes.
