Same question, especially since game randomly crashed during tutorial and I missed the in-game ship tutorial... as I got stuck inside the terrain, so tried leave to ship option once... as I didn't want to deal with having to reboot PC as the pos DRM freeze up my PC (7950X with a 7900 XTX with Nvmes so it's no slouch). Madness that there is no way to reset when bugs like this happen.

Find game id in steam apps. delete the cloud save file.

however this will not work if there is a client side save. Only way to reset then is too contact the devs and hope they feel gracious.

on HD1 wasn't there multiple universes that you could cycle through each at a different stage of the invasion?

No, just every time Super Earth won or lost the war the galactic war reset. Wars usually lasted about a month though and War 133 just wrapped up actually

The original Helldivers allows it tho

If you create a new steam account then log in,
You should see the games you have installed on your other account.

If you try opening helldivers 2 it will ask you if you want to create a family
So that you can share the games with different members of the family that have access to your computer.

You then create a family and add both accounts to the family,
now you can play helldivers 2 on a freshly created account with no unlocks.

I have 3 accounts, the one account I am level 150, the other I am level 20 and the other I am level 30.

Although I don't know if you need to link those accounts to your mobile app to create a family.

The game has to support this feature, tried opening lossless scaling on my other account and it did not work.
