So, when I'm doing a mission, when I go to interact with something--say, an objective--it kicks me out after every sequence and I have to hit E again each time.

For example, if it's an arrow combination that's "Up, Up, Down, Down", for me, I'd have to go:
E "Up", E "Up", E "Down", E "Down". It kicks me out of the interact menu every time I hit the next key in the sequence. Or if it's the one where I have to turn a dial, I have to hit E, press whatever direction I need to to turn it, then it only turns just a small bit and kicks me out and I have to hit E and that direction again...over and over...

I have tried changing the interact mode to all five different types: Tap, Double Tap, Press, Hold, and Long Hold. None of these fix the problem.

Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

I haven't seen this issue myself but I have seen other people acting oddly near interactibles it may be the cause of it.

I have the same issue.

But I'd rather they fix that by removing the arrow code and simply have players hold E to call for the extraction.

That's weird. Can you replicate it? When I'm doing a code and exit out of it, I have to start from the beginning again. Also, the arrow codes are an integral part of HD, they aren't going to remove it.

Yes, I can replicate it. It happens *everytime* I do an interact with something. It forces me out of the code or interact or whatever and I have to hit interact (E) again to go to the next part of the sequence. So, like I said, "Up", "Up", "Down", "Down" turns into E "Up", E "Up", E "Down", E "Down". It doesn't cancel the sequence or make me start over, but it's an annoying issue that slows things WAY down and leaves me vulnerable for a much longer time.

So I changed the bindings for interact from WASD to the arrow keys and it works fine that way. I even like it more as I can now keep moving with W while entering the stratagem commands with my right hand.

Also, changing CTRL and E to 'Press' instead of 'Hold' makes it a toggle and I find that easier as I enter the string with the arrow keys.

I had this issue. I had a controller connected, but was using kbm. Disconnecting the controller fixed it.

I have the same exact issue with interactions, and it happens *everytime" as well. Need to hit the "E" key to enter the next command. I thought about changing to use arrow keys so i could keep moving during strategems but not the ideal scenario to have to move my mouse hand back an forth. Wonder if it has to do with your character "moving" with the WASD keys, breaking the interaction, and your not holding down a command like you would with the strategems.

Never had this happen and I've used the WASD and arrow keys as the inputs.

I think they fixed this problem because I no longer seem to have the issue.

This is happening to me and I don't know how to fix it. I can change the keybinds but I would much rather use WASD since I'm used to them now. This also started happening about 50h into the game so it's a brand new bug for me and even restarting the game doesn't help.
