No, it might help some but not everyone, the game has hyperthreading issues and sound tied to your cpu, they have to fix it. I turned off hyperthreading and sound works fine no crackling or anything.
I did it in the bios
I don't have that option on my bios. i'm on a laptop, do you know if there's another way to disable it?
I'm gonna give it a go, thanks for the tip
did lasso work? im downloading it and i assume im looking for something to disable hyperthreading? but im super well verse. this audio is torture though.
Edit: messed with it more now I cant get rid of it sounding like its down a hallway lame guess I will have to wiat for an update for fix
Okay say I suffered from two problems. One my Bluetooth headphones would get all muffled sounding from hands free mode being on. So I have to go into the properties of my headset and disable it in the services tab... then I have to restart my pc. (Note it will turn itself back on when you shut down again, so you'll need to repeat this process).
But that's not all. Apparently there's a hyperthreading issue built into the game. I imagine it'll get resolved. I had to download Process Lasso. So once I reboot my PC for the headset I'm good to boot the game. Once the game is booted minimize and go to PL, find the helldiver process, right click, go to cpu affinity, current, disable hyperthreading.
This actually solved my problems with audio.
I use an Arctis 7 Headset. It's wireless but not Bluetooth. There is no "Hands free" settings to disable in Windows, but the headset do split the audio between a gaming output and telephony output
Do you think this fix will work ?
