Audio Issues?
Getting extremely crunchy/clipping/laggy audio when there's lots of gunfire and explosions happening. Haven't found anyone else with this issue on Twitch, Steam community, or Reddit. Anyone get this and have a fix? Doesn't seem related at all to performance as FPS is still fine and not dropping much when it happens.

Specs: RTX 2070, i7-10750H, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10

I had this issue with my ps4 controller plugged in by usb. when I tried using the headphone jack on my PC instead of the ps4 controller it fixed it. I think it might be the frequency range of the ps4 controller. it's only 32000hz but my PCs onboard audio does 48000hz.
Bro god bless you i just did this and the pause menu doesnf deafen me anymore.
Same issue here, glad to know iam not alone
So I set the exe to run as admin and limited the fps with nvidia control panel and now it only has crunchy audio when I play with a full team. Sometimes it doesn't though. Not sure what causes it.

its happen with my bluetooth headset
I tried to turn off the mic on my headphones with setting in windows, but only disabling the handsfree helped

here's how to do:
  1. Open Windows Settings.
  2. Choose Bluetooth & devices tab.
  3. Click on Devices section and then scroll down to select More devices and printer settings. This will open the control panel.
  4. There, locate your Bluetooth device, right click on it, and select Properties.
  5. From services tab disable handsfree telephony option. (and other handsfree option)
  6. Restart (turn off and on again) your headphones.

on windows 11 in a different way, but going this way you can find the right options
Glad someone posted the instructions, I almost died trying to figure this out when Battlefield 2042 was doing the same thing. Apparently Helldivers 2 re-enabled this setting. If you're using a bluetooth headset, this should absolutely fix your issue
I haven't experienced any of that. Only issue I have, and it might be a game design choice, is that there is no surround sound, no matter what audio options you choose. Enemies behind you and out of line of sight only make noise that's detectable once they are close enough to attack you. Lots and lots and LOTS of cheap shots.

I think it's a developer choice because the AI isn't that smart. Lets them get some free hits on ya.
Same problem the more people shoot the crackling gets worse and fps drops

Great hint, thanks.
Same issue. Sound cracking while multiply shooting, explosions etc. I use bluetooth headset but I dont have services tab and handsfree telephony options when opening properties. And neither can I change frequency on them. 16Gb
I don't use a Bluetooth headset but I have this exact same problem, the audio destroys itself when lots of noises are playing at once - it starts cutting out and cracking, I've tried everything.
Same really sucks, i can deal with low fps , can deal with a bit of lag here and there but the audio is completely scuffed if whenever i play with a party
i get it also, only game this happens to,
I'm having the same problem, are you guys playing on laptops?
I might have a solution to this, try going to your motherboard and turning off hyperthreading, this might be a bit advance but its in your motherboard menu.
I think this game doesn't work with hyperthreading well, give me a response on what happens.
