Framerate issues
I have an RTX 3070 and I have serious performance problems, not only can I almost never exceed 60 FPS, except by lowering the settings, but even there I can't get who knows what FPS more. Also in the game I have sudden drops in the framerate which makes the game almost unplayable, unfortunately there is a lot of stuttering and sudden freezes due to frame drops. Do you have these problems too? I'm very disappointed at the moment.

ryzen 9 3900x
rtx 3090
64gb ram
ssd

reinstalling my nvidia drivers seems to have fixed the issue for me. everything else was working fine so not sure why i needed to do that but now its like 96% gpu and 40% cpu and framerate is normal on ultra

I installed the Nvidia hotfix drivers 551.46, apparently in part it was the 551.23 drivers that gave problems, in fact the performance in other games has improved. Here it was much better at first, the problem is that during online matches I have sudden drops in framerates that drop to 20-30 fps every few seconds from each other and the game jerks is quite unplayable this way.

my pc
RTX 3070
I712700H
16 GB RAM
SSD

I play with 2560x1440 resolution with DLSS active and unfortunately even lowering the graphic details I have these continuous lags and freezes caused by the sudden drop in framerate. Do any of you specifically have this same problem as me?

Try disabling any RGB controller software.

Are you using a Bluetooth controller? Try disabling that too.

Any antivirus issues? Open whatever you use and see if mayhe the anticheat is messing with it.

In task manager check your system resources. Is anything spiking usage when you're not in game?

Yes I've checked everything, so far I haven't found anything strange that could cause it, however I will continue to do some tests to see if it is something in particular that causes it.

Also running 4070 and im playing on all max 80-100fps
bro you play on 1080p? I have AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 on the 1440p On the low-mid I have 60-69 FPS.
This is trash

I had the same problem, the hotfix fixed it for me. You should stop wasting time trying to get the game to run, it is clearly a problem with the game and not your hardware, you just have to wait for a fix.

Even if you could run the game, there's still tons of people having crashes and network issues. The game has disconnected mid mission every other match I'm in, even in single-player. And when you get disconnected you don't keep any of the progress.

I have problem with low frame rate too, it seems some ppl with low specs than mine have better perfomance. rtx 3060, amd ryzen 7 4000, 1080p mediums settings 30fps~ and drops a lot when theres a bunch of info on screen wich is most of the time in this game

Run in full screen vs borderless window

Windows 10 Home 64bit, I7 10700k @ 4.9 GHz, 32GB DDR4 3200 CL14 2R RAM, 1TB 970 EVO Plus NVME, RTX 4070 Ti.

Run the game maxed at 2560 x 1440 with super sampling on. Get 110-120 FPS and is super smooth.

Weird. I ahve a 4070 too and get around a steady 70-80 fps maxed out online. I did notice that the game seems to have some kind of mouse frame skips at times.

Weird seeing all these people with high end cards talking about stutters and poor performance where I'm sitting here with my 1070 8gb getting 50-80 fps on high (not max) settings in full lobbies, and no hitching. I'd figured a card 4 generations old would be blown out of the water by 30 and 40 series cards.

So, performance was good up till around difficult 6+ when swarms are insane. FPS tanks but not TOO badly.

No issues with my 2070 laptop edition. My gf had issues with 3070 laptop edition but that’s because she had 20 tabs of Hello Kitty opened up in the background…

Sometimes when developers focus on a console release, they optimize for the capabilities of said console. Since this was mostly billed as a Playstation release, setups closer to the system specs of the PS5 might run the game better. Ergo, mid-range to lower-end hardware.
