how to complete Verify Ore Objective?

I'm at the spot and can't figure out what I need to do. Can't call in Stratagem, no terminals. Anyone able to help?

edit: it turns out the ore thing was a large orange circular target icon on the map completely on the other side of the map from the ore vein hexagon mission icon. Taking care of the first then required me to go across the map to the second.
