it is stupid though unsurprising.
No one can be this dumb.
A lot of games launch in good states actually. If you are used to buying unpolished stuff that is very much your own issue. A lot of devs still release games in good condition
not really true. single player games, sure. popular online-only games? i've played probably 100+ on launch day and they almost all have severe problems if they're popular enough. probably the smoothest launch in recent memory was lost ark. everything else is dogwater on launch day / launch week.
Based on the review count, this game doesn't really seem to be that popular. Just sayin'.

That's the idea. They don't want an informed customer, they want a customer that will give them the most amount of money.
