It seems to be a Intel issue with the game because I don't think I've seen someone with a Ryzen CPU have this issue.
My 5800x3d is bairly doing work 35% & it's pretty cold 55c & I just got a cheap AIO single fan.

Same for mine, even Arma 3 and star citizen doesn't get it as hot and i couldn't see any problems with cooler or thermal paste

It's okay if you don't understand.

What kinda CPU are you using that it can hit 100% CPU usage a Dell Pentium?
#JuicyStick# Feb 22, 2024 @ 7:26am
After the latest patch my CPU is never over 45% usage. ( Helldiver difficulty )

CPU: R5 7600, overclocked.

Iam on a full watercooled system but the temps look totally normal in comparison to any other game. On the contrary, they seem pretty low with never going over 50°c.

Anyone having trouble with 100% cpu usage and temps should check their CPU Coolers.

To me this all sound like temp related throttling.

It's a faulty patch; don't listen to idiots who are fixing hardware issues. Devs messed up with the latest patch.

Was getting 70C before with 20-25% CPU use but after this last update today it goes to 45% cpu use and temps are like 90C. Can't play it like this. 13700K

around 69C at 30-40% usage. a 7800X3D and 4080 Super.
BUT i have to say the latest patch did something wrong. I had better frames before the patch

"GameGuard uses rootkits to proactively prevent cheat software from running." it's amazing how you people can't do the bare minimum of research and then call out others for "misinformation" lmfao
many people just do not operate in good faith

Up to date liquid cooling with fresh paste as of two months ago, its not my cooling.
This is extremely hard to believe. A proper liquid cooling setup never overheats unless you haven’t refilled in your tank in forever. Also my CPU tends to get pretty hot in most games and this ones is on the lower end.
Damn, I guess I need to give my old rig more credit. Not liquid cooled... just fan cooled... paste never changed... factory 2017 CPU and paste with fan.
SirTelamon Feb 22, 2024 @ 12:12pm
Yeah after update my cpu usage has gone from 50 to 90

my air cooled 5800x3d (cpu that gets hot) doesn't go above 75°c

Doesn't matter if the patch made performance worse, that isn't the cause of your system overheating. That is simply not how hardware works. It's like blaming the highway because your car with no coolant in it is overheating.

it is happening to me too, i play more graphic intensive games and i dont get these temps.
