How to matchmake with another player public?

So I figured it out, you have to do Quickplay.
However, it doesn't guarantee join because you can fail to join the lobby.
This is sad.

Same, I have tried doing the search, but nothing happens. Just stays at searching, and if it does find somebody, it always fails to join the game

Press R when u go into the missionselection, isnt working rn tho.

Yeah I usually find a game at 1 or 2 minute mark, but I fail to join lobby...

It is kinda sad, but I just keep spamming R and M1 everytime matchmaking fails, so far I have gotten into one game and I gotta say at least from the game I got into that there was no lag, everything was smooth and fun. Once they fix the quickplay thing It'll be better... I hope lol

Update: I also realized you are quickplaying in respect to the planet you selected.
Might be a good idea to matchmake in a planet where there are more Helldivers Active
