The only way to get it to stop is to navigate in Windows to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone, scroll down to "Let Desktop apps access your microphone" and toggle that off. It will completely cut your mic, but that's your only choice.
I'm lucky enough to have one of the older Bose gaming sets that has a mic I can plug in, when I plug that in to the headset it also cuts the game off from using the noise cancelling mics.
The echo comes from there being two mics, one on each side of your headset, tied together.
In Darktide though you could toggle the Desktop Access OFF before start-up, start the game, then toggle it back on and it wouldn't pick the noise cancelling mics back up, unfortunately Helldivers 2 does.
