Can you play on PS5 and PC with same account?

that's cross-save, "cross-saving allows you to continue right from where you last left off, no matter which device you last played on."
no the game does not support cross-save

The FAQ on their official Playstation page is wrong and they didn't bother to change it. There is no cross-progression.

I have a question that maybe someone can answer or what I think he is getting at. Say you have the game on PC but you also want to buy it for PS5 can you still use the same psn account that you have used for Helldivers 2 on PC?,’ or does he have to make a whole new account. Understandable cross progression is not supported but could be in the future. I want to know that if I use the same account and play on PS5 would my rank on PC reset. I don’t think it will but not 100% can’t find any topic on it.

No it won’t reset but there is no cross progresssion at this point. So if you play on PC or PS5 they are both separate accounts and separate level systems, they will not match or progress equally you would be lvl 1 again

Seems like, considering cross-save/progression is not a thing, they don't give us the motivation to buy on both systems... That is what I would have done right now, if that feature would be available.

Extraction ship Pilican air support its available,

So for those that dont know this.

When you call the extraction, you can leave the zone in the couple of seconds where the Pelican is coming for a landing. If you do that the Pelican will stay hovering above the extraction and shoot with it's nose turret everything in sight. It's incredibly powerful and can clear completely overrun LZs in a matter of seconds.

If I get the game on a new steam account, will I start at level 1 or could sign into my original account?

As I understand it, if I buy a game on PC, I will not be able to join a PS account to the incentive and play freely there and there

You do not have to anymore.

PSN accounts are not required anymore and neither is there cross-progression.
