You guys buying this? Can't decide
On one hand it looks like it could be a fun game, one the second it looks like a game which is going to be dead 1 month from now, and I assume it's online mostly game

First one wasn't even my style and yet I still had a ton of fun with it.

Nope. Not buying it if I can not play it offline on Steam Deck and if it has ingame currency thats bought with real money.

This game has both. So unless it goes f2p im not touching it with a mile long pole ...

It's a live service with lots of veterans coming back. There are no guarantees, but servers are P2P and you probably will be able to find some long-lasting players. Choice is yours, but without really active support the game will have a playerbase of only a few thousands in like half a year. There are going to be more players in general, so who knows... and all the changes, too...

I bought it and I plan to spend next few months playing it for sure. And... does it really have such an impact on you if it's mostly online?

It looks fantastic, Helldivers 1 is one of the best coop games ever, I have high hopes. Coop games need to make a comeback, after that Payday 3 debacle. people crying about the online requirement are delusional, you are not gonna play this game alone.

Were you planning to play a co-op-focused game alone? You can't keep saying that some game is ♥♥♥♥ for not being able to play it on Steam Deck, cmon

for sure buying it and just gonna refund it later if it turn out to be bad.

I also hesitate, i am a fan of the Darktide and Vermintide games, but I've never found another game that matches them. For example, I didn't like Starship Trooper Extermination I played it for an hour and then refunded it, whereas I've racked up 2k hours on the Tide games.

we didn't see any content that seemed challenging or engaging. I just have the impression that enemies arrive in waves and you just have to shoot like Starship Trooper Extermination but thirdperson

I'm very interested but i'm waiting for the reviews.
I'm sure there will be a review bombing here on steam at the beginning. But i'm reading the reviews anyway so i can sort out who has a honest opinion (positive or negative) and who not.

And i'm not in a hurry. Have to socialize IRL too on the 1st 2 days of release. So....i let you all test it out.

Arrowhead has in my mind blown a sequel out of the park here, there is existing preview footage so one can make up their own mind if there are any doubts. But I am counting the minutes until I can drop down planetside and scream LIBER-TEA at the top of my lungs again.

On my group we got already 6 keys. The game is fun.

Bought super citizen edition. My friend did same. It will never die as long as they keep updating it, it's a crossplay game, you can always find players from PS5 even if Steam version die somehow, I dont think population will be a problem for this game.

i preordered it, but it was because steam was changing my country currency and at that time i paid $19,99 for it, instead of $39,99

Looks like it could have been interesting if it wasn't always online with anti-cheat. These days if I can't play it offline with mods, I'm good lol
