That's about the time people start speaking honestly about the game. Take a look at discussions around npGG+HD2 together. Sucks sitting out on something you're looking forward too; but it's good to abstain until you're positive about buying or not buying.
But than this happened..
https://www.pcgamer.com/ransomware-abuses-genshin-impacts-kernel-mode-anti-cheat-to-bypass-antivirus-protection/
Genshin Impact uses Easy Anti Cheat, not GameGuard. An anti-cheat solution used by a lot of games (Suicide Squad, Starship Troopers Extermination, fortnite). That is when you know how full of sh't the trolls here are. Btw. EAC is in the game you're playing right now. You better uninstall Darktide right this instant.
I hope you are adequatly scared.
People exist that don't want any kernel level anti-cheat in their game, or at least the option not to use it. You completely disregard those people because it goes against the false narrative that you're trying to paint.
And for what it's worth, none of Arrowhead's previous games have had kernel level anti-cheat. This is something new with Arrowhead. It's not surprising that Arrowhead's fan base might take issue with this, given that it's not been a thing for any of their previous titles.
Darktide don't have any anticheat. EAC was removed long time ago from the game.
Secondly, the difference EAC runs only when game is playing. Gameguard starts with a system boot, always running, hard to unistall (got to remove yourself from registry etc.). So if it blocks some OS driver, you won't even boot your PC. Gameguard is a cheap trash.

So Bael was lying yet again. Why am I not surprised?
Nor Darktide using it.
I don't get this rant over the anticheat neither, but we need to keep the information legit we spread. That would be great.
Wait, it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ permanently installs ♥♥♥♥ onto my PC even when the game isn't running? Oh wow. That's bad business.
The irony is astounding. :Shrugs:
GG does NOT run without an associated game.
GG does NOT launch on system startup
GG MIGHT NOT uninstall itself with associated software. This one seems to be up to developers, and at least presently Arrowhead has stated their implementation will uninstall when the game uninstalled (unless maybe there is another associated game present).
Issues from Undecember were real, but emphasis on 'were'.
Security concerns still abound. But being precise, none of the above applies any longer.
I am opposed to GG in Helldivers 2. Just trying to be truthful in my objections.
Neither does GG starts with the system, and neither do you have to uninstall it manually. The developers already stated that.
Yes sure, and i'm the one lying.
As a reminder, you are the ones who claimed EAC is better without a shred of evidence. You claim GG would be always running and can't be uninstalled easily, which was promptly disproven by the devs. But you're still insisting spreading misinformation.
Where did I ever state that? I'll be waiting.
Keep in mind that you quoted me while making such a ridiculous and false statement.
