What makes it competitive?

Are there leaderboards, clan system etc? Or will there be a scoreboard at the end of a mission with winners/losers? Genuinely curious how the competitive stuff works as I’ve heard the developers use the word a few times when referencing their game.

Taking a guess here by saying it will be a leaderboard for the Galactic War top community contributors in the war effort, that is all I can think of immediately...

my guess iis teams on highest difficulties with less friendly deaths and most objectives completed. shortest times ect. i stopped caring about that stuff a while ago and i enjoy my games more now.
