3D : Nier Automata
I agree with tschupp about Valdis Story. Its a fast game with combos, super finishers, four playable characters with really differents weapons with different playstyles. But it is very difficult game, its sometimes feel unbalanced to me. But you can choose the difficult you want to play. There is even a arena mode with infinite chalengers ( but I only get to floor 30 to unlock a item to the others modes)
But Hollow Knight to me it is very different from these two. Its more like Momodora. Or more like Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles from the psp, with a little more mobility, more character customization through the use of charms combination( I think there is 42 in the current patch, there is a new free DLC come in 23 this month with more charms and more bosses and a new game mode) and characters development(you can raise the MaxHP, MaxMp and the base attack power). and until now there is only two mode. Hard and very hard. This like a darksoul 2d game.
3D: From Ys series: 6, Oath in Felghana, Origin, 8.

If you want 3D CA games, then the ones I listed previously are great triple-A picks. 2D games have of course ICEY, but also Odin Sphere and Muramasa Demon Blade (Vanillaware is a favorite of mine). If you want a rare top-down isometric example, CrossCode is a game I can't recommend enough.
Regardless, try that masterpiece. It has a free demo
Stylish: Yes (if you like the chinese artstyle)
Light RPG elements: Yes (a simple upgrade system)
crazy combos: not as much as ICEY :/
the core element is the summoning of spirits that assist you and parring of projectiles (<- very rewarding when sucssefully executed but not as easy as it sounds)
