But I have been doing that and every time I replace the equipment I have to redo the color.
The colour "stays" if you replace a like item for like (for example if you replace a level 1 Burst rifle with a level 2 Burst rifle.
If you change the item to another type (such as a sniper rifle) it either defaults to the scheme of the Walker it dropped from, OR the game seems to auto colour the weapon with the pallet you picked if you did the "Colour All) option.
It's a bit buggy yes, but it's not overwhelming. Plus did you find the camera option when colouring your Walker that puts it in a T-Pose and adds the weapons in an "exploded" (ie separate from the Walker) view (makes customising the weapons for things like the secondary pistols that seem to be hidden in the default camera view)?
