To get all achievements--short of using a 100% guide, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the game--will more than likely require at least two runs, depending on how you roll.
now i get good ending in like 10 minutes after getting bad ending
Having just gotten past said annoying additions for the first time I am realising I made it way harder on myself by forgetting no fail mode existed. On the other hand, the necessary task is doable without using it! If you take the cowards route like I did...
I thought I saw a win-by-attrition route if I'd kept at it but at least you can pass the section without no-fail mode. God I wish I'd remembered that existed an hour ago.
as for the exception? that one doesn't require a full run, it's just kind of a quirky achievement. It's about getting an item early on that you'd normally not see until much, much later in the game.
it adds some more enemies, but aside from that I think you're right, stats wise it seems the same as NG.
