about the golden path...
okay i understand figuring out a massive puzzle. that's not the issue.
the issue is, as someone with a form of dyslexia, in no way, shape, or form is the golden path even *slightly* doable for me. i assume it also has to be done with no mistakes.
the smaller doors i can handle. but this.... keep in mind my brain tends to skip all over the place when reading. i can't be the only one that experiences this.

sucks too as i was having a ton of fun just PLAYING and figuring stuff out. but like, this is insane.
i have no idea for suggesting a solution that will please everyone. keep it challenging but impossible for me to do properly or ask for an accessibility option and risk the magic of figuring it out beng lost.

... tricky indeed.

There are certainly ways to create accessibility options without risking the magic of figuring it out being lost, such as allowing players to create arbitrary sequences of inputs that could then be used at any given point.
There's probably better ideas, i'm not an expert on the subject.

For your case, i can see a few solutions :

-Editing your save file. (Tell me if you want to do that, i happen to have a quick way to figure how exactly to modify the save file.)

-Finding some way of writing the sequence that would allow you to be able to read it the right way.
For example, you could write out the sequence in a text file, but in such a way that you'd need to scroll to see the next input each time.
Then, you would have both the game (not in fullscreen) and that text file open.
Then, you'd do the first input, then switch the focus to your text file (which happens to stop time for the game), scroll to the next input, switch back to the game window, input the input, and repeat.

It's also possible to do this without changing the window focus, since i'm pretty sure you don't need to have a window in focus to scroll it.
You would probably need to use something to slow down in-game time, though.
.
(I have no idea if that would actually help you, i'm not an expert on dyslexia.)

im gonna wait til i find the other missing pages and then pm you on how to edit my save.
i also realized theres an accessibility option where you can get d-pad assistance.

I thought about this too. I don't have dyslexia but it is a VERY long sequence to enter. I tried to write out the directions on pages but I found I was getting confused so I ended up just following my own map without rushing. It worked on my second try. I kinda wonder if the game sneakily lets you get away with a few mistakes.

Just make a post in this topic telling me you're ready¹, i might as well post the way to edit the save file in this topic so other people can find it.
(Unless the d-pad assistance is helpful enough that you don't need/want it.)

Side note because i remembered something : correctly inputting the golden path (very light spoiler, maybe) creates a bit of a... triumphant? moment (at least for me). If you don't end up doing it yourself, it might be worth it to find a video of someone correctly inputting the golden path.

¹(maybe a post with the completed golden path, if you want to make sure it's correct)
