Achievements don't unlock!

I'm playing using Linux + Proton. The game runs out of the box (with and without my PS4 controller) and the fox is really cute, but achievements don't unlock. This is kinda weird... does this happen to anyone?

Hey @iq.gobo, did you manage to make achievements unlock? Someone in the fixed post says they use Arch + Proton 7.0-1 and it works. I tried other Proton versions and the problem persists.

Having this Issue on Ubuntu. Other than that, the game runs great and I'm having a blast.

Same issue here but running on Windows 10. Some unlocked but most didn't.

I recently finished the game but most of the achievement dont show up, very frustrating.

Same, but the game itself runs fine. I think it would be kinda funny to unlock just the final achievement and none of the ones leading up to it if it does eventually work

I actually have the same thing going on on my Arch laptop using Steam Play / Proton,...
I completed the game but it didn't unlock the achivements

Just to make sure, have you tried some of the latest Proton versions or Proton Experimental?
Having seen this bug myself on many different games, it seems my answer is always to use a newer proton version (note : i think it can change the location of save files.), but i don't use Arch.
I switched to 7.0-1 (or Proton 7.0-5?) when i noticed i wasn't getting achievements, and they work fine now. (However, alt-tab has switched from causing the game's image to freeze when in fullscreen to causing the game to crash when in fullscreen.)

well tried proton GE today and now the save is gone after it doing a cloud sync,....

I found out what it was, found my save files, copied them in to the working prefix and it unlocked one of the achivements after I started it with proton GE and it sucessfully added the saves to the cloud.

Yeah, i did mention that different Proton versions can have different save file locations, but i don't know which ones exactly.
Fortunately, since like you saw it's just a different save file location, Steam Cloud doesn't "know" about them and shouldn't be able to delete them locally.

Side note : If you ever play a demo on one version of Proton, then download the full game on a different version, and the save files are supposed to transfer over, and they fail to be transferred over due to Proton differences, the demo saves can be deleted.
I think this is because Steam deletes demo data when the full game is downloaded.

well somehow the pfx folder was marked as corrupted and it created a new one,... but at least I have my new game+ save back and can go after the achivements again
