Stuck around Quarry?

The Quarry area is very frustrating, I can't find any checkpoints which means whenever I have to go back I spend another 5 minutes walking from the Overworld over the mountain to the Quarry. Not only that but it seems impossible to avoid these life-leeching rocks. All that combined with these hard to deal with snipers really stunt me.

I'm assuming I'm missing a checkpoint or item or something, unless it's just become unfairly difficult.

Once you get to the inside the first building you get a card that will help deal with the life leeching rocks

Also if you dont have the grappling hook, I would suggest coming back to this area later once you have it

How do cards work?

Well, you need the scavenger mask to travel that area, you will find it in a chest nearby. After that you will need to go down and enter the facility. You can check out my walkthrough if need any help.

I did the same thing on my playthrough. That entrance is definitely cursed. Of the three places you need to go to get gems, the quarry should be the last. Notably there's another entrance with a checkpoint. from the main hub.
