About the strange language...
I've seen a lot of reviews but honestly the weird language is the only thing that didn't appeal to me.. I'd like to play this game drinking a beer and enjoying it instead of being some kind of Indiana Jones to keep deciphering it... Am i wrong? That language does no matter?

Its a personal taste thing and if you dont like it it's fine, just not your personal thing.

If you can't read it then you're not supposed to. It's not like it was put there by accident. It's flavor. Think of the Sheikah language that's all over the place in Breath of the Wild for example. It's not necessary to understand it.

the booklet you find is a rough guide of what to do, i really like the vibes it gives, i felt for a moment like playing the legend of zelda on nes for the first time

Think of it like this:

The vibe it's supposed to be giving off is you playing this imported cool lets say Japanese action RPG game. Nothing in the game or the manual really makes any sense to you so you're feeling it out and playing through it. You can't understand the language, occasionally english crops up here and there and you can understand it, but otherwise it's just random symbols to you and you can sorta figure things out slowly with context. So you're just playing through this game blind, seeing a story unfold that you can't understand either so your brain is filling in the many blanks using the context clues as to what's going on.

Realistically even if the game was fully in english it's not like it would really guide you any better. The game is pretty well designed in terms of pushing you the right way to go and it's fun to get new pages in the manual and suddenly figure out something that you didn't even know existed because hey if you do X Y happens and you've had access to it since the start of the game but, well you just didn't really know.

It's not like the game world is gigantic or anything you can pretty quickly figure out where you can and can't go. Just constantly shove your face in blind spots on walls because you will find many a secret that way alone.

The game literally has item descriptions in that gibberish, so you have no idea what any of them do.

Not necessary my ass.

How do you think you find out? Intuit it through previous video game knowledge and the hints in the manual. You can also just use the items to find out what they do if your assumptions aren't enough. It's not difficult, or a punishment, or a test.

People making excuses for the stupid language gibberish have now actually pissed me off tbh.

1. with some items being in gibberish so you dont know what they do "just try it and find out" yea whatever.. i had 2 chili peppers and ive only ever had 2 i used them and i had no idea what they did.

2. getting into the point in the story where people actually talk to you and still its in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gibberish. Bro just shut up with the excuses, "its a matter of taste" ♥♥♥♥ off with that. WHAT are they saying? it actively harms the game 100%. what am i supposed to do here? Am i supposed to not care about such a major development in the story? just try and do what exactly? Nothing.

at first I was like fine other people seem to mind it and i guess i can still progress a bit without knowing literally anything thats going on.

But now at this point in the game I want to know what the hell they are saying and I shouldnt have to decifer the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game in order to do that.

Its so stupid.

A bit excesive, sure, specially regarding basic item descriptions, but it definetely contributes to the misterious atmosphere the game is aiming to create. Not sure what to think about this tbh, but it didn't caught me by surprise, its not the first game to do it, like Fez (which this game clearly takes inspiration from) or Environmental Station Alpha.
I wish that the text was translated in a NewGame+ save file or something. I appreciate and respect the vibe it's attempting with not being able to understand all of the text but it did start to get a bit old towards the end of the game -- and now that I've beaten it and want to just play through again for kicks, it would be nice to actually be able to understand everything
As far as I can tell, all but one of the late game puzzles can be done without any understanding of the runic language whatsoever. That one exception puzzle is not required to get the other ending. It's only when you get to the extremely cryptic super-late game does translation really matter.

How about an accessibility slider to turn the gibberish into plain text? It's completely optional and you don't have to use it.
