Prayer pillar and western garden teleport platform?

Hello,
I'm stuck at the west garden, I can't figure out how to go up to pray next to the pillar and I can't figure out how to reach the teleport platform with the yellow square to activate it. .
Can you help me please ?

pillar thing can be reached only using dash ability much later in the game. teleport is useless though.

On the left side of the staircase you can find a hidden opening (a chest and access to the pillar)
