This game unfortunately didn't run too well. Too short and not challenging enough. Also, I got 2 of the keys in ways that didn't make any sense. I shouldn't be allowed to poke my head through certain obstructed areas just to get a key. I hope that was a bug and not the actual solution. My biggest critique, though, is that the environment was way too dark. I had trouble seeing things because of this. What is the obsession with dark escape rooms? The better VR escape rooms out there are actually all very well lit. Focus on the puzzle elements and make it longer.

The game was jittery even with gtx1080 and a bit too short, i spent 15min escaping the room.

Great room escape experience and it runs flawlessly with a GTX 980Ti.
The graphics look great and the room adjusts to the size of your playspace
which adds to the overall immersion.

Some things are destructible and you can interact with 95% of the environment.
The price is great and this is a absolute fun game to show to your friends as it is easy to grasp on,
even as a first time VR experience.

Played on the HTC Vive with a 2.5x2.5 area.

Summary: Very short but good if you are into the genre.

I am a big fan of room escape games and imo there can never be to many as long as they have different puzzles.
Some people might think it's a bit too expensive for probably 30 minutes of game play but it was worth it for me.

The game has 1 level with 2 modes, normal and hard which provide different puzzles in the same environment setup.
Neither are very challenging and I ran into a broken achievement that might be fixed in a future patch.

Some of the physics glitched up on me but it only caused me to have to restart the game once. The feature to reset the room by holding the grib buttons also caused me to sink into the floor and I had to reboot the whole game. Hopefully that will be adressed in a future patch.

Overall I had a great time with it as did people who I let try it out.

This game ran fine for me other than a weird height issue that I was able to work around. The normal level is pretty short, but the hard mode is a significant jump. Definitely worth checking out. Ignore the old bad reviews about bugs.

It's not terrible. It would be alright if it were $2.99, but at $4 it enters a category with much better competition in the VR escape room arena. This is pretty harsh on the eyes. It's got that high contrast indie Unreal Engine project kind of scratchiness. Too much orange rust in the color scheme. The puzzles and quality of the game are alright, and the room is well designed. This isn't as bad as The Gleam, but I liked that one better. You should wait for this to be in a bundle, I'm fairly certain that is where I got it. Watch out for objects falling through the floor! God I hate that. Why do some games have normal, nice physics interactions, and in other games it's fubar and everything flies out of your hand? Even on Unity, some developers must be twiddling the wrong knobs...

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Good game, after i beat the room, it suprised me to see there is a hard mode also!
The only thing missing in this game is music from the saw movieJust dont press the grip buttons,
when i pressed the grip buttons they teleported me under the floor of the map and i had to restart

I LOVE ROOM ESCAPE games but sadly.....I can't recommend this game...
Its WAY TOO DARK and even wtih the little "flashlight" you still can't see crap!
Im running an i7 4790K and a 1080 SC GPU and still have glitchy/studdering issues.

Save your money and pass this one up!

The in-game room needs to scale with your room; I can't reach some of the walls because my play area isn't large enough. Also if you drop something on the floor you are screwed because you can't pick it up. Aside from those things the game was ok but those are game breaking.
