The road remembers. The gods have forgotten.

Hello, everyone! 👻

We are excited to announce that Revenant of Tsushima (津島・魂鬼), our upcoming first-person Japanese folk-horror adventure, now has an official Steam store page!

Developed by Aurora Studio, an independent game development team based in Hong Kong, Revenant of Tsushima invites players into a supernatural journey inspired by the folklore, forgotten shrines, and mysterious landscapes of Edo-period Japan.

Step into the role of Tsushima Mewa, an ancient shrine maiden awakened centuries after a failed sealing ritual.

Guided by a mysterious onmyoji, Mewa embarks on a pilgrimage through haunted villages, abandoned shrines, and forgotten roads to uncover the truth behind the shattered Nine Seals.

Not every spirit is an enemy.

Some are waiting to be understood. Others are waiting to be remembered.

Our vision combines:

• Japanese Folk Horror: Explore supernatural mysteries inspired by Japanese folklore and Edo-period traditions.

• First-Person Exploration: Investigate atmospheric locations filled with hidden stories.

• Ether Sight: Discover spiritual traces, forgotten memories, and supernatural phenomena.

• Spirit Investigation & Rituals: Uncover the stories behind restless spirits and guide them toward repose.

• Unreal Engine 5: Experience an atmospheric world built with detailed 3D environments.

These features represent our ongoing development vision, with additional gameplay systems being developed and refined.

Throughout 2026, our team has been transforming Revenant of Tsushima from an original concept into a playable experience.

With our early Windows vertical slice available on itch.io, we have begun sharing our work directly with players.

Launching our Steam store page marks another important milestone for the project.

There is still much to build, improve, and explore, and we look forward to sharing that journey with you.

If you enjoy Japanese folklore, supernatural mysteries, atmospheric horror, and independent games, we would be grateful for your support.
