This invalidates your post almost entirely.
Yearly redesigns, there's been 1 major rework, there was a small tweak to cross drops in old CV game play, but only 1 real rework to how they work, not any "Yearly redesigns"
Do you actually play or did you say that to give yourself more credibility?
According to WoWs Wiki
"14:32, 29 September 2015" When Hosho was added, meaning when you started, Carriers were already in the game.
Sort of makes it sound even more like you don't really know what you're talking about.
If you prefer other styles of game play, that's fine. WoWs has always been arcady and with gimmicks.
What are you aiming to achieve? I have to ask as this is like some weird .... spat the dummy out and want to argue post which is well just not needed!! ??
Move on .. game is not for you and find one which is!!
Good Day!
Plus, people really need to stop comparing this game to Sea Power and TFA - they're both single player strategy games!
Though I have to agree with Hiei here that CVs were not introduced at some point, they were part of the game already when it was published. And that there has only been one single rework for them in the whole history of the game.
And as above, CVs existed from the start (which you would know if you really had been playing since 2016) and have not been "redesigned on a yearly basis". The change from the RTS style CVs was many years ago and has been the only rework of the class. The way the game works hasnt really changed in all that time although obviously there have been a ton of new ships and content added. Its always been a slow paced arcade shooter. Again, as you would know if you played since beta.
Subs are certainly unpopular with many people so if you dislike them enough to make you not want to play then fair enough.
Farewell!
But look, you wish to stop playing. Upto you and best wishes.
You certainly had a good run if you played that many years. Personally I still enjoy the game having played as long as you claimed to have.
Good luck onwards!
Yeah, a lot of the game is either unintuitive or counter intuitive; with a lot of the most important mechanics being incredibly opaque and not consistently or reliably documented.
Although there's a lot of "you can lead a horse to water" about it: The number of terrible players who militantly refuse to listen to their betters far outweighs the number of players who are interested in learning to play as far as I can tell.
If you need help a lot of good people here that can help you Darnel. What do you need help with you should ask that before posting? I'm 65 had two or three strokes and do well In this game still. Hang In there If you can and good luck Captain. Remember this both sides are equal In ships may the better side win.
And it IS an arcade game, for better or worse. Complaining about that is like complaining an FPS game is a shooter.
On one thing I'll agree. Subs did very nearly ruin the game for me.
