Why Aircraft Carriers are hated ?

I'm new to the game and has only started to play on last month, I've reached Tier VI already and I'm an Aircraft carrier main.

Start to play this morning and as soon as the match started, I got messages in chat that are Toxic and full of mean words, N-words, F-words, etc any mean and toxic words towards me you can think of. But all of them said about I'm using the aircraft carrier and it is disgusting, then they start to call me stupid and dump and start making harassment towards me. Even my teamates start to do the same thing.

then later on I got kicked out of the match and my account got shutdown for a few hours due to too many reports on me violating the game rules. My account was later back online just before, no message, no progress was lost. I don't even have any email into my mailbox. It just back online

Am I just too unlucky to get into a match full of toxic or every hates aircraft carrier users?. I'm new so I don't know much but I see them chatting I'm ruining the fun. I do not know what kind of fun is it since I'm new.

Can you explain for me why? and what is the "fun" they are talking about ?. please

Yeap, most hate in general comes from less skilled players who don't understand what is happening to them and mostly don't care to find out (or they'd be Googling and asking questions instead of complaining). That's not to say there aren't some good players who dislike certain classes, but they won't be spouting nonsense like "CV's have unlimited planes" or that it's impossible to deplane them. Some ships certainly can't, but some most definitely can.

There are a few concerns such as Howard mentioned such as "they don't fit into the rock, paper, scissors" concept and that's somewhat true, but a more in-depth understanding of how they work with team operations clears that up for some. And some just won't like them.

Not being able to counter them is 90% a skill issue though and that's where most of the dislike/hate comes from.

There are a lot of reasons people hate CVs. It has been a topic of much discussion since before the rework. To my knowledge people's issues with CVs boil down to the following issues:

-The ability to deal tremendous damage with little risk.
-There is virtually no counterplay.
-Being focused by an enemy they can't respond in any way to.
-Spotting ships who would otherwise be hard to see (when they first came out some claimed they made DDs extinct).
-That it feels like the CV player is playing a different game.
-That CVs largely ignore one another, if for no other reason than the insane AA they have and that to drop fighters you have to be directly over their target, and it only last a minute or two so is pretty easy to avoid.
-That CVs are 'easy mode' because they have instant use damage control that has an incredibly short cool down, making them nearly immune to fires and flooding.
-The feeling that they don't fit into the supposed rock paper scissors of the game.
-That at low tiers you can get double carriers while in a boat with virtually no AA.
-That CVs get unlimited planes and it is virtually impossible to deplane them.
-You often have to give up something good (like hydro) to gain an AA ability that is only useful if you get a carrier match.
-The MM is perfectly happy to dump all the good AA boats on one team.

I'm sure there are more I missed but that is all I can think of off the top of my head. I also want to say that not all of these are true (or are overstated) but that anti-cv players see it that way.

Personally, I don't like the 'new' CV system, I much preferred the old rts CV gameplay and I don't enjoy playing against CVs. But people shouldn't throw tantrums in chat. Frankly chat is a pretty toxic thing, I rarely see any positive statements in chat, it's almost all "GG red, this team sucks, what a bunch of ##### potatoes" and the like. As others have suggested, you might want to send the replay to support. It's a shame most online game have a toxic minority who makes chat infuriating.

I hope you get better teamates in future games.

Haha, more like 10k......and yeah, getting 1shot from 20km means you had atleast 12-15s to react.....so thats on you then....

Because their hulls are made from spongy nerf balls and they launch spongy nerf balls into the air which drop spongy nerf balls onto the enemy.

Oh and the entire enemy team thinks they are OP. So nerf them more.

Haha that's good :) I had not heard that before. I did grow up hearing one of my relatives say, "I may be fat but you're ugly - and I can go on a diet!"

I am so sorry for that bad experience, i started playing this year this game and i have 2 aircrafts tier IV, a brittish and japanese (focusing on japanese rn, as i love their speed planes).

Nowdays tier IV is not really filled with players, atleast not when i am playing with CV not sure why, if lucky there's atleast 6 players (including me). But i am still confused that people still fight in the comments of youtube and reddit specially about "CV's being broken".

I lately play them a lot since i love their change of gameplay and i like to be sorta nearby my team, being careful to not be spotted ofc (even if my planes out my position, lol). And i thought league was the only game that could happen to you something like this, oh boy.. how naive i was.

Even tho i didn't run into this problem luckily (yet) i can already tell that i will have to deal with it aswell, while it's true people complain about high tier CVs.. it's like if they ignore certain ships (battleships especially) that 1 shot, a rain of bullets, killed in a single shot from 20km for example.

And submarines won't even mentions cus i know what will happen (first match with a tier V DD, got a first blood killing a sub lol)

And today for example a freaking bot Battleship went through all of my ally bots (i almost always have sh*t AI allies for some reason) and halved my hp like nothing, he was at a sliver of hp but still was so hard for me to kill him, while the bot only had to shoot twice and almost kill me.

For some reason i feel like i am so innacurate with the dive bombers and attack planes from the japanese carrier (Hosho), maybe i have a bad aim but i feel that the circle is really missleading.

But eh, can't do much about it i guess, although just grind for tier VI carrier and enjoy the tears of salty noobs. I wish you a good life, good luck and have fun with this game while you can, don't allow those weirdos sour your experience.

cv is fun but been nerfed so much you will die by just one ships aa guns and you cant even get to launch at them and yes people know these ships and only play using 1 ship cause its either got advatages like shooting over an island that its right beside or can stay hidden around 5 km away from you making it easy to torp you or have ships that shoot long range with basicly no spread on there shot so they all hit round same area and height while the other ships will be useless against them

The problem is the clan games that are here on the rated servers - fully developed ships that run faster than German torpedows are more agile etc. and if your own Ki is good, they shoot at them and that's why this clan is angry because they are from warship after quote is paid because of that the cleans also have Russian names otherwise you would see where these fair play fascists come from- fascists put themselves over others with all means- it's always nice to see how a bb which has 1 percent still has 7 bomb hits continues What is written here is actually nothing worth it, everything is just fake, which in the end is fraud, so you get fewer points- Ps the graphics are nice ps every beginning is difficult cv and you don't need the first rated game anymore

I can still remember a game cv Richthofen rated game after 4 minutes 80 percent of their own ships were already sunk- in the lower corner I put my cv and a bb- of course not sinking full speed on the gener 9km away 2 bb- This has the ki bb pulled along also full speed on the opponent not hidden behind the mountain - everything the cv had covered different planes behind each other then the cv was in ari reichweter 12x 125 on both sides all defended heavy damage - but both bb sunk - the next games it was no longer possible since the sisters the cv and the range of the main was reduced -that says for me warship is the sheep in the woolly skin-alive if you were victorious would a gross cv only generate a loss or is it just me - therefore verplay fascists
