What's Your Favorite Ship to Broadside?
What ship do you love to cit?

Personally, I can't go wrong with radar ships. Cleveland and Seattle are my favs.

Follow up: What is your favorite ship to cit from? (I prefer the Baltimore)

Favorite ship for me to cit is probably the Alaska. Not out of any animosity for the ship itself, but just because its citadel is supposed to be below the waterline, where it should be nearly impossible to hit (but happens more often than you'd think, even at close ranges). Nothing quite like deleting 90% of a battlecruiser's health bar in one salvo with a T7 battleship.

Favorite ship to get a citadel with? German battleships, for sure. Having citadels happen so much more rarely just makes them all the more satisfying when they do happen.

American cruisers, especially as Graf Spee.

Kremlin. One time, my GK managed to land 6 citadels with front turrets only (!) on that thing. Not only was I surprised that none of my guns missed but the fact that it all went into the citadel meant that I wiped that thing out with a follow-up volley. I should mention that my GK runs 420mm guns and secondary module instead of aiming systems.

Other than that, Omaha, Emerald and most Russian cruisers. The former are so easy to citadel it's hilarious and the latter have a hard time turning away in time.

I also love getting a cit on a BB that's not expecting it. Oftentimes you have to hit them right in the bow, which can be hard.

Nurnberg is a bit of a cliche - many times will be dev striked first in a match.

To shoot at, probably the Yamato... his weakness between 1st and 2nd front turret warrant easy citadels, even if she is slightly angled.

And to shoot from, hard to say, DesMoines at mid to close range maybe...?
But it can work well with many others (Petro, Mino as well, etc), probably more impressive with cruisers to get many cits.
From BBs, Thunderer and Vermont works really great as well, but I like to close the distance and take risks, so it’s definitely more fun with JeanBart or Bourgogne ie... but it’s tasty with any other ships tbh lol 😂

Best ship to cit for me at least would always have to be an omaha. Its bassically turned into a game for me at low tier. Like ohh. Im Running this ship with bad ap can I cit an omaha ? Wow look at that I can.
Best ship to hit cits with would be georgia for me. because wehn you hit a cit it means you aimed right and probably hit more then just 1 shell whcih means you can just enjoy as the enemy ship ooses 15k health and upwards in a second and I just laugh as I imagine the panik they must feel at said moment.

Mid-tier ships like T5 are fun like that, because almost always after getting a bad hit, they then steer into another bad hit and are soon out of the fight.
