Stop blaming the CVs

Jesus christ people, can you please for the love of god stop blaming the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CV every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. CV's are not responsible for if you win or lose the damn match and hell they dont even exist in some matches. Even still I see some toxic players state its the CV's fault even if the friendly team is winning. There are a variety of factors that determines if a team wins or not and its not just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CVs, so please for the love of god stop blaming the damn CVs thank you.

I was in Cossack. Enemy had Benson. I have 5.5 detectability. Benson has more. We are only DDs in team. I will spot, hunt and shoot him easily. I dreamed victory already.
Went in the middle and left, closer to B area. my team stayed behind some 5-6 km.
Enemy planes in sight. My AA is off. He is sniffing around, I am trying to stay undetected.
While I am trying to outmanouver enemy planes I lost track of my Cruisers, which are all running to A and C. So left alone in middle.
Finally rocket planes managed to detect me.
I hide in smoke. Cossack has short burst smoke. I got hit. My Cruisers are far away I noticed, but plotted my course towards them, for cover. Smoke is out, Got hit again, my health is low now.
Mayday, mayday, mayday, CV, help!!!
And than I observed our glorious CV.
On the bottom of the map, some 10-15 km under B, steaming towards C following edge of border. His rocket planes are between B and C, but his fighters are hovering over him.
I Will repeat, in case you did not read clearly:
His fighters over himself, far South, nobody there.
Can you believe that?

Finally, third turn of enemy rocket planes and I am dead.

Their CV took first Blood.
I had 0 points.
Their CV had 3 kills.
Their Benson had 2 kills.
Our CV had 0 kills.
We lost.

So, beside blaming myself, I blame CV.
To their CV I gave +.
To ours, just said "Great play" in chat.

Generally I have great respect for CV players, due to fact I suck as CV.

But had to rant when Jack said that People blaming CV will not read this post.😄👍

Usually there is one simple reason why people blame CVs: they don’t focus on spotting/harassing enemy DDs first, before focusing on anyone else.
If cv of your team doesn’t do it while enemy cv does it, u loose the game 90% of the time.

Good cv players know their main missions is to get rid of the enemy DDs.
If he starts to do it while 2/3 of our team is dead and the rest is falling back, then yes, it’s justified to blame him.

Ofc plenty of factors are involved, but get rid of DDs handicap all teammates, if one team have all his DDs harassed and struggling to survive bcoz enemy cv does his job while our cv chase BBs during that time, it’s totally justified to blame CV.

If it’s for others reasons, well, that’s situational and case by case then.
But if it’s about refusing to hunt enemy DDs bcoz that involves time to find them and skill to hit them, then yes, it’s justified to blame CVs.

Good cv players know it, cv is a decisive factor to win just bcoz of their ability to hunt and completely deny enemy dds to do their stuffs and be a threat for everyone.
If noob cv refuses to prio that task bcoz it’s easier to farm BBs, then cv player is responsible of making life harder for everyone.

It’s just the way it is.
But sure, sometimes people blame CVs for wrong reasons as well.

Yup, even easier to aim/hit them.
But still, afaik, AP rockets have better effects on cruisers so far, lots of overpens vs DDs, but dmg dealt on cruisers are much better.
Ofc, even with just overpens, one volley of 6/7 overpens can hurt DDs quite a bit.

I like German CVs, although didn’t get lucky enough to get the mission for t8 Parsival, but I got t4&6, and their AP RKTs are very fun 👌🙂

So essentially the golden rules not to break as a CV with high standards goes as follows:
-Attack the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ destroyers and take them out FIRST before any other ship.
-Spot the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemy warships
-Once the two above are done you better provide aircraft support or you suck as a CV
-"Why u hanging at the back and not pushing with the team in a dangerous situation"
-Move away from heavily suppressed areas.

Most they can really do sometimes is just try to find the DD's and try to reset captures.
They should pay attention to these inbetween damage runs.
Fighter planes aren't pure defense, you can use them to spot, place them something like 6-8km from targets to keep an area spotted when you leave.

That is impossible. CV's are the punching sand bag of the community, that won't change until submarines come out and maybe not even then.

Depends on the MM and the situation.
If on Tier X you got only one destroyer but the enemy DD is a Halland, well then forget about prioritizing taking out DD's, it would cost you way too much airplanes to take out a Halland, especially if it's in proximity to other ships.

Spotting, except for DD's and some stealthy cruisers, happens pretty much automatic but yet again that is not your main task, your main task is to deal damage, you're a damage dealer.
If you can prioritize DD's, if not for your team's sake then for your own, since DD's can become problematic when they decide to hunt you down.

Pushing is not your job with your ship, repositioning should be only done to protect your ship with foresight.

That you cap happens rarely.
