Is treasure liberator achievement bugged?

Ive been searching quite awhile for missing chests and haven't found many im missing. I read on another post on the 100% achievo guide that someoe else cannot get the achievo. Has anyone actually got this achievement on here yet? The percentage on achievement page says .9%

I also noticed that the boss in the secret area in phantom sands spawns all the time now in front of the treasure chest, not letting you check if you emtpied it. I don't know if this achievement could be bugged because of that, but it could be a factor....im hypothetically thinking of course.

This post will be a moot point if i can get the achievement. Been looking all day for lost chests. So far, i found 2 i was missing..one in valley 7, the other one before crystal tower..and no, i already have the ones from the airship interior and balamb garden.

I got the achievement a few months... It took two passes through all of the areas before I found my last one, which was in the Sardonia Docks, tucked away in one of the areas you reach by cannon.

Have you tried one of the treasure checklists? I would recommend manually checking every location and marking off each one as you see it.

Also, have you beaten the Phantom Sand's boss? You must defeat it to unlock the chest and it should stay gone until you zone out of the area.

i beat it before, but now when i best it, it just teleports me out of the secret area. I was trying to check the chests i was missing in that area. As for a list, im using the guide here on steam that is this one:

BTW, the writer of that guide made an error. There are 14 chests in the sunken temple, not 13. I am also making my own checklist of treasures i found and even found the writer of that guide missed one or counted one wrong. Hopefully they fix it as i messeged them about the issue.

Just finished sunken temple...so now im checking the crystal tower...im almost done checking the whole game for chests. If there is a bugged chest that won't activate the achievement, im going to link it to the boss in the phanton sand that does not let you access the chest, and instead teleports out of the secret room.

Thanks to my astute chest checklist, i found i was missing one in the last area of castle exnine..apparently i must have had full 99 items of something so it would not be considered opened..
