How to enable "cheats"

on the number pad (far right on most keyboards) press 0 and * at the same time, a text prompt will appear on screen, type "youshallnotpass" no spaces or parentheses then you can start spawning things or giving yourself perks and levels, ex: "additem.ak47 1" will spawn an ak47 in your inventory, more item codes can be found here:

the game isn't really that hard so you don't need to cheat but if you want to start a pseudo new game + its useful, also in case you sell a quest item :p
