Also if you wanna go full evil there is another chick who wants to join.

Random dog encounter requires 40 survival.
Is the dog encounter a repeatable one? I stumbled into that and, just watched the fight. Him and his dog won, thanked me for helping (I didn't do anything) then that was it, I left.
I guess it's no big deal if it's a one-off chance to get the dog, I already have two humans so far.
For information on getting Fidel watch the intro. They even show you pictures of the house he is in.

that means you're playing on easy - on normal the guy always dies, and if you manage to put find the amour for the pooch it stops being "dog blunder" and it can actually spread some righteous retribution for your enemies ...plus if you put him to fight in Peregon it will be a daily income (you must enter him tough)
Wow. You have all these awesome female characters, like the blonde Sniper, Katya, Alenka or Dyna, but all you can recruit are what? A big mouth (Alexander), a grandpa (Hexogen), a cartoon mexican (Fidel), a slave who can't even fight a little (the girl from the thug fortress) and a literal dog.

Oh, and the only cool recruitable character is locked behind an evil route. Amazing. So now i have to play an evil character, just to have somebody on my team who is actually interesting to have along.

Here I thought you could recruit that girl from the "Safe Haven" farm if you had good charms. What a shame.

Same here. Until every single interesting character just switched back to standard answers. Apparently they want us to chose between running solo and running with 150% unlikeable companions.

Should have picked lone wolf. Usually i look companions up, but here is thought "Hey, it's a russian company, they wont be prude and boring and just shove me something unattractive, unlikeable and boring into my face. They know what a player wants". Welp, guess nobody's perfect.

Yeah I kind of wish some of this female characters could be companions. The girl in KZM with the special pistol walking around could have been.

Maybe they will make more campanions in later updates?

Or give you speechcraft chance to recruit random people. For example, the random wastelanders that you meet on world map would be perfect recruiting opportunities, among many others.

I play on normal and I managed to save the guy from being killed lol. I have no idea that the encounter is the recruitment for the dog. I guess no dog for me then, unless the event is repeatable.
I don't really see it, the characters pretty much function as backpacks and additional combat grunts. They have no role in the story, so what difference would it make? Companions would need to be more integrated into the story first, which would be a fair enough critique.

Yeah. What difference would it make in a ROLE PLAY game, how your companions look, act, what backstories they have or what they represent.

Aaaaannnddd your companions act upon decisions, response even initiate conversation with said npcs. You get lots of insight about them hence you even earn XP. Welcome to this game newbies.
