Do I need to move Ubisoft Connect or do anything with Ubisoft files if I move steam game
I moved my steam Far Cry 5 local files to a new external disk but after hours of googling I can't seem to be able to find out if I also need to move Ubisoft Connect or even how to do it if I do. I looked for a way to move files and such like you do for Steam but can't find anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated even if it's just pointing me in the right directions on where to look for information. Thank you

Don't think so but if you want to check just start the game. If the Ubi client wakes up it's a good sign but to be sure, make a change or two to your Settings and quit. If the client syncs back to the Ubi servers you should be good to go.
fyi, Launcher is in it's own location, here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher

Thank you, I will stop stressing and let it stay as it is and test it the way you suggested.

As long as you get steam to recognise and launch the game "first" it will sign in no problems.
This explains Libraries

Just leave steam and 3rd party software on your windows drive all other games installation files can be moved to External folder name it also Steam.
How did you move FarCry5 via properties move installation files? then it will setup all the necessary files to work the game.
Set a new library steam settings>downloadsadd new directory and point to directory of folder with games on USB. Insure you have a steamapps folder for the acf files before the common where the games are. acf files required for Steam to recognize your games as installed.
Since it's Steam play that opens ubisoft or any 3rd party tools.
I have all of them on my external Seagate expansion dive
