How did you move FarCry5 via properties move installation files? then it will setup all the necessary files to work the game.
Set a new library steam settings>downloadsadd new directory and point to directory of folder with games on USB. Insure you have a steamapps folder for the acf files before the common where the games are. acf files required for Steam to recognize your games as installed.
Since it's Steam play that opens ubisoft or any 3rd party tools.
