Game keeps crashing

Every time i try to get in the hero of the arcade mode, it crashes, it downloads the map, them it closes, if it loads, it's a map unbeatable with no end, what is the problem here, i want to do the achievement

mine was working 8 hours ago, more or less, with a few crashes. I'm crashing 15 seconds into every public game now

Do you get any error messages when the game crashes? If so, could you share a screenshot of the error message?

Your PC specs?

Is the game installed on the same drive as Ubisoft Connect and Steam?

I would recommend taking a look at one of our troubleshooting guides[ubi.li] and following any steps you may not have tried yet.

Since nobody's replied since February, I'll just slide in and mention that every single map made by "maks2600000" and "Mer_lll_in777" are entirely unplayable. They will not load, and instantly crash the game without fail. A lot of these don't have a rating because they're impossible to play in the first place, and the Arcade HERO mode is FLOODED with these. I think this is intentional, given how often those two names come up, AND how often they're usually paired together, usually with 'maks' as the original creator and the other guy re-publishing it.

This isn't a matter of hardware, it's exploitation. These two users have made the HERO mode unplayable, and subsequently made the achievement impossible to get.

It's not, in fact, wholly impossible to get. While they have made the mode unplayable in any real sense, a lot of time and patience (it took me around three days, on and off) will score you a map you can at least die on, just toss a grenade and sit on it. Then all you have to do is rinse and repeat. I do agree that some kind of moderation does need to be done about the Hero mode, but if your goal is solely to net the achievement, it's... the least fun to get, sure, but it is doable. It's just a matter of luck.
