Audio Delay During Cutscenes?
I'm having a weird issue where the audio is not synced up during cutscenes. At first I thought was just the voice audio but now It seems like the cutscene itself is delayed; I hear the audio before a character speaks/right before they perform an action. For example, in the cutscene I just watched one of the Seeds was using a stapler. I was able to hear them staple things and slam the stapler on the table, before they actually did so. And, of course, all the voice audio is not synced up wither, their lips are out of wack which what they are actually saying.

I'm only having this issue during cutscenes, the audio is otherwise perfectly fine during gameplay.

Anyone familiar with this? Any solutions out there?

Edit: Seems the game takes issue with running over 60 FPS. I'm running it at 100+, but capping it to 60 seems to solve the issue. I really hope there's an actual solution out there, sucks to have to cap...

Unfortunately, V-sync is already enabled. Thank for the help, though! Any other ideas?

I guess try disabling it then?

Also, you can try changing fullscreen mode. That works for me sometimes.

I.e, if you're in fullscreen, try borderless, and if you're already in borderless then try fullscreen.

Hi Dislexeeya !

I've taken note of your report, and I'm sorry to hear that an audio Issue is impacting your experience in Far Cry 5 !

The thread has been moved to the Player Support section of the forum, to bring it the best possible visibility.

In addition to the steps suggested by St.Mil (thanks for contributing by the way !), I invite you to let us know the following :

- Does the problem persist after checking our dedicated {LINK REMOVED} ?

- What type of audio device do you use ? (Bluetooth headset, wired speakers, etc)

- Does the Issue still happen with another audio device, if available ?

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to share additional details, or if you have questions !

i read on reddit that users found out it was solved using a framecap at 60FPS.
1 person noted 75FPS also worked out, so i would suggest working with that as there seems to be no appareant fix.

I switched to borderless windowed mode and that fixed the problem.

This is a very annoying issue and changing to borderless means you can't enable HDR for some reason

Audio keeps cutting out for a second during cut scenes too
