Report a translation problem
I've taken note of your reports, and I'm sorry to hear that error Alberta-FFF0BDC0 is preventing you from enjoying Far Cry 5 in co-op !
Another thread has been merged to this one, in order to gather all reports in one place.
In order to isolate the problem, and in addition to the steps already done on your end, i invite you to let us know the following :
- Are there any apps such as VPNs or proxies active in the background ?
They can create {LINK REMOVED}software conflicts, and might contribute to the error.
- What type of network are you using (personal/home, school/student residence, mobile router, etc) ?
Some of these networks can be filtered / certain services blocked, which can also affect the game connectivity.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to share additional details, or if you have any questions !

For network it is personal/home router using through Ethernet. We also try it with Wi-Fi and still show the error
Besides using Ethernet as a way of connecting the rest is the same. The only thing running in the background is Discord, Steam, and Ubisoft
Could you please let us know if you have already left Dutch's Island?
That is one of the requirements to be able to play Co-op on Far Cry 5.
Also, could you please check your network settings and let us know if the network type is set as private or public? To check this, you can also follow this [support.microsoft.com] guide.
Please let us know how you get on.

Thanks for getting back to us.
Another cause which has been noted is the game being blocked by your firewall / antivirus.
Please could you ensure that Ubisoft Connect, Steam and Far Cry 5 are whitelisted?
- Ubisoft Support
Hey The_Deadpool
Thank you for getting back in touch to confirm, sorry to hear that whitelisting the launchers and the game didn't help resolve the issue.
If you have followed all the previous steps already, I recommend looking into our connectivity article [www.ubisoft.com] for Far Cry 5 to see if further steps inside may be of help.
Forwarding the ports in particular might helpful.
Previously, it was mentioned that this issue occurred with your friend as well, could you confirm if it makes a difference at all if you or your friend try to host?
Let me know how you get on with this!
