Only you
OK. I've searched a bit and haven't found a solution. What's up with this song and getting disabled over, and over, and over and over and over, and over.....
What's up with this malarkey?

OK. Sick as ♥♥♥♥ of hearing this song. Never liked it any ways. Please. At stopping point. How do I get past this most annoying point in the game?

its a story related thing
everytime the song is played your char gets knocked out
thats just whats supposed to happen

I was mainly annoyed that Jacob cranks a little music box that makes a few tinny notes before playing an album version of a song with vocals?

Farcry 5 makes no logical sense.

Ubisoft is conditioning you to buy the DLC.

Jacob made you a sleeper agent.

>"Only You" by the Platters is played durring your "Conditioning"
>By doing this, the song is set as a trigger for "activation"
>The Music box plays the first few notes, causing you character to remember the song, activating you
>Once activated, you carry out your conditioning.

Same sh:2016trophy:t as Bucky Barnes in The Winter Soldier.

the odd thing is it doesnt trigger in the open world. ive heard the song on the radio while driving and stopped thinking my character would flip out (mind you i killed jacob by this time) but nothing happened.

this also makes no sense since in the "good" ending your character becomes triggered when the sheirff turns on the song and the radio plays Only You

Id chalk that up to a dev oversight

major oversight as they couldve made it that your character starts to turn but flips the station immediatly to resist.

which kinda does explain the ending as you "start" to turn. when we saw this before when your character tries to grab the box thats on the ground you start to fight it for a bit till it takes you. since it was the radio couldnt you just change the station to avoid fully turning? i mean you literally lunge at him for the box to try and shut it off so it would lead me to think you would change the station to avoid the same fate lol

Don't try to think of the story logically, it just won't... It's not capable of logic in itself.

As when Jacob captures you a third time he uses the music, but it just puts you to sleep or something, I really don't know. Then he uses it again. And it brainwashes you.
There's actually a large mansion house in the North. You can hear this song playing. Even after completing the game - it disables and respawns you.

I'm guessing you should stay away from it. No idea what it's about though. I didn't encounter it on any missions I did,

That is to set up DLC.

WHY they decided to put a portion of the map that is inaccessible for DLC later into the game, is beyond me.

Except that's NOT THE GOOD ENDING. That's ANOTHER BAD one. Watch closely - The screen turning red and ending in a scary sound suggests that song causes your character to turn on everyone and kill them right there.

The GOOD ending is actually the SECRET ONE! If you don't arrest him at the beginning of the game, everyone leaves and you the deputy say "If you put those cuffs on him, none of us survive" - it foreshadows the ending of the game. The "good" ending - which is arresting him at the end; IS ALSO A BAD ENDING. The "secret" ending foreshadowed that arrested him would cause everyone to die. Remember, after the explosion and crash; you are the ONLY SURVIVOR. He even said "I am YOUR FATHER and you are my child now" and mentions you are all he has left. Everyone else died because you cuffed him.

Ubisoft trolled everyone this entire time.

Is that why I sometimes lose time and find myself just sitting in my chair with my CC in my hand?
